Our Production and Post-Production Environment:

Achieving Optimal Results with Blackmagic Design

Our professional work environment at ‘The Sanctuary’ is set to be designed to foster a highly collaborative post-workflow.

We plan to implement cutting-edge technologies across our music production, audio mastering, and post-production studios. Our facilities are being meticulously designed to facilitate a highly collaborative post-workflow.

For our Photography, we rely on the Magic of Canon DSLR Cameras

Director Walter Schmidt  has been using Canon Cameras since 1986, starting with his first Canon Camera, the renowned Canon T90. This camera was the flagship model in Canon’s T series of 35 mm Single-lens reflex (SLR) cameras.

Today, he along with the Film-Set Photographer and the Unit Still Photographer, are consistently depending on a variety of Canon DSLR models. Time and time again.

For our productions, we utilize an array of Canon DSLR camera systems along with a complete set of Canon EF, EF-S, and RF lenses to produce professional and stunning images.

Filmmaker Walter Schmidt utilizes a Canon DSLR Camera paired with a Canon EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM lens.

“The Sanctuary” Docuseries will be shot in 8K (12K-Open Gate downscaled to 8K) predominantly using SIGMA Cine Lenses.

Some of the most successful Hollywood Blockbusters were filmed with

SIGMA Cine Lenses

The FF High Speed Prime Line lenses are designed for large-format camera systems and 8K shooting, providing exceptional image quality in a compact form. SIGMA Cine Lenses were utilized in the filming of “Top Gun Maverick” at the request of Director Joe Kosinski, who aimed to capture the movie in Full Frame. The wide end was covered by SIGMA Cine lenses, ranging from 14mm to 50mm. While the long end was covered by SIGMA Master Primes.

Sigma engineers worked on integrating the /i Technology into Sigma PL mount Cine lenses to meet the metadata needs of Cinematographer Claudio Miranda ASC for Top Gun: Maverick. The enhanced High-Speed Cine Prime Lenses from Sigma offer high-quality optics and mechanics, along with Cooke/i Technology for lens metadata to aid in post and visual effects production.
